ACCIDENTS HAPPEN

Yes, that's right, my 14 month old daughter has a black eye! She had an accident yesterday when I was at work. She misjudged the weight of a table and tried to stand up using the table as leverage. The table was too light and she fell over backwards taking the table down with her.
The eye looks pretty bad, but she's acting like nothing ever happened. She hasn't been any more grumpy then usual. I'm just hoping that the black eye goes away before December 26th because we are taking family pictures on that day.

HOLY CRAP! Her eye is huge! I will keep my fingers crossed that it heels quickly.

You could always turn into one of those stage moms and put foundation and mascara on her for pictures haha (kidding, please don't!)

It will be the first of many unfortunately. Grace is majorly clumsy right now and she gets a new bump or bruise ever couple of days running into the table or tripping into the wall (mostly just not paying attention to where she is going). Cool thing about kids is that they heal quickly.

You need to find a better coach to teach her to "bob and weave" better and keep her hands up. A few more training sessions and I'll think she'll be ready for the circuit. Who ever knew your little girl would be the youngest boxer ever?

So my initial reaction is the same as everyone else that has commented...OMG!!! Poor little thing, but glad to hear she's her happy little self! Maybe Santa can bring her a pretty, healthy eye for your family pics. Merry Christmas!
